Full Disclosure: I am currently working with Hipmunk.com and other travel writers to work on an exciting new city guide project. I am being paid to write these articles, but it will help me bring a large guide section to our website, which i’ve been wanting to do since the beginning. So double win!

Not traditionally known for being cheap, Amsterdam can be an affordable place to stay if you spend time researching and being careful with how you spend your money. Part of that is choosing the right hotels if staying at hostels isn’t your thing. These are some of the best hotels in Amsterdam for the price and each one comes with stunning designs as well as great features to make sure you have a great stay.

Crowne Plaza Amsterdam South Hotel:

The Crowne Plaza Amsterdam South Hotel is located in the south of Amsterdam and comes with its own bar and restaurant. The rooms are designed in a modern and contemporary style and give off a feeling of spaciousness.  The One-o-One restaurant serves international cuisine with a focus on health and fresh food dishes. They serve breakfast through dinner. This hotel starts out at $119 per night.

NH Amsterdam Museum Quarter:

Located outside of the city center in Amsterdam, you’ll be in a great spot to explore the city and by great I mean there are three world-famous museums and an entire shopping district at your disposal. The NH Amsterdam Museum Quarter is also designed in a contemporary style and comes with three different accommodation options and will allow you to stay with your pets. To get a night here, you can expect it to start at $122 per night.

Inntel Hotels Amsterdam:

The Inntel Hotels Amsterdam is fashionable from the inside and out. On the outside, it looks like houses are stacked on top of each other and on the inside it is filled with art and vibrant designs. This 4-star hotel allows pets, has it’s own pool and restaurant, and comes with a lot of lounging space for you to relax in. This hotel starts at $127 per night.

WestCord Fashion Hotel Amsterdam:

The name says it all. The WestCord Fashion Hotel Amsterdam is all about fashion and comfort and is one of the coolest hotels you will ever stay at. If you’re into fashion, the World Fashion Center is close by and each room is uniquely designed with art and furniture. The Fashion Hotel comes with its own bar, swimming pool, saunas, and gymnasium. If you want to stay here, the rooms start out at $132 per night.

WestCord Art Hotel Amsterdam 3:

If you’re more into paintings rather than fashion, this is your place. The artwork is vibrant and colorful and is painted onto the walls and canvases in the hotel. It’s centrally located to the Westergasfabriek Culture Park as well as the Anne Frank House as well. The hotel has its own restaurant and bar and offers free breakfast. If you’d like to have an event here, they also have a 2281 square feet (212 square meters) of conference space. The WestCord Art Hotel Amsterdam 3 is the cheapest on the list and starts out at $109 per night.

If you’re planning on going to Amsterdam, these are some of the best and most affordable options. They are some of the coolest and most unique hotels that I’ve ever seen and each one is an experience in itself.
